Built as a family home in the early 1960s, Hoopers Cottage has been lovingly restored to celebrate the décor of the time with the addition of modern comforts, to offer a homely, relaxed accommodation experience.
Situated on a quiet corner of the property, among fully landscaped gardens, Hoopers Cottage is a leisurely 15 minute walk from leafy Aldgate village. With it's central Adelaide Hills location, including to nearby picturesque Hahndorf, it's easy to immerse yourself in everything that this incredible region of South Australia has to offer, including beautiful bush walks, vibrant native flora & fauna, world-class wineries, stunning scenery, idyllic small towns, great coffee and fantastic dining.
It’s hard to believe that such beautiful, restful and scenic accommodation is less than 30 minutes from the centre of Adelaide.

There are bedside lamps on either side, and easy to access power points for charging your devices

Bedroom 1 has polished timber floors and contains a large mid-century dresser and mirror and floor length blackout curtains

The open plan lounge offers two separate areas; one for enjoying on-screen entertainment, the other for reading or relaxing by the sun-filled windows

There are also a variety of chairs & lounges (curl up with a book in the Jimmy Possum chair)

With its original pink/blue tiles and shower-over-vintage-tub, the bathroom is sure to brighten your day

To avoid congestion, there's a standalone toilet

The large country kitchen, with its original cupboards, was the inspiration to retain the mid-century style

The cutout breakfast bar cleverly connects the kitchen and lounge spaces to make meal times more sociable

Please note: due to the building age, the cottage is unfortunately not suitable for those with a disability
